NEST PC Conical Erlenmeyer Flasks
Glassware performance in a contamination-free, single-use shaker flask. Polycarbonate bottle meets the USP Class 6 Standard with high transparency, strong impact resistance and oxidation resistance, and can withstand temperatures up to 121ºC. There’s a scale made by injection molding on the flask body to facilitate volume observation.
Nest Polycarbonate Conical Erlenmeyer Flasks are designed for mammalian suspension culture applications as well as bacterial & yeast culture.
Seal caps prevent contamination and evaporation. Ideal for long-term storage and transporting liquids.
Vent caps with 0.22 um hydrophobic membrane allow gas exchange without contamination (an oversized vent area in the cap improves gas exchange). Ideal for cell culture, fermentation, air-sensitive reactions, and preventing bacterial growth.

TUNAIR flasks present an improved methodology for the growth of aerobic microorganisms as well as mammalian, insect, and plant cells. These flasks increase culture growth (up to 3X for yeast), and increase productivity over traditional Erlenmeyer flasks. The unique baffling and barrel-shape design increase the turbulence, with a corresponding increase in oxygen absorption. TUNAIR flasks are a unique, high-aeration, reusable cell growth system which increase the availability of dissolved oxygen and improve cell yields. Available in either 300ml or 2.5L sizes.
Baffle options:
No baffle, NO-BAF (normal throw)
2 baffles, HAF-BAF (vortex motion)
3 baffles, FUL-BAF (propeller motion)
These culture flasks are made of a raw polymer which has excellent biodegradable properties. These raw materials can be degraded to carbon dioxide and water by microorganisms in soil. Under normal conditions, the biodegradable flasks can be degraded within a year after disposal or 70 days under composting conditions.
- Made from a bio-renewable polymer
- 0.2um filter cap
- Disposable, non-autoclavable
- Sterile
NEST Transfer Cap for High Efficiency Erlenmeyer Flasks
Two-Way Liquid Transfer Cap
The two-way transfer cap is used along with a 2L, 3L or 5L shake flask to
connect a liquid inlet tubing with the required device. The liquid transfer
is achieved by connection of a peristaltic pump between the shake flask and
the device. Upon completion of the transfer, the transfer cap can be
replaced with a vent cap for culture.
Multifunctional Liquid Transfer Cap
Unlike the two-way liquid transfer cap, the multifunctional transfer cap
can be directly placed in an incubator for culture after the liquid
transfer is completed. It can reach a large air flux. The sampling part is
composed of a sampling nozzle and a one-way valve, which can prevent the
liquid from flowing backwards during the sampling process and ensure the
aseptic sampling. The liquid inlet tubing is provided with a PTFE needle
filter, which solves the issue of liquid remaining in the tubing during the
feeding process.
Inverted Liquid Transfer Cap
The inverted transfer cap is used along with a 2L, 3L or 5L shake flask to
connect a liquid inlet tubing with the required device. When liquid
transfer is required, the liquid is transferred under gravity with the
inverted shake flask.
Application
It is applicable to liquid transfer and culture during mass proliferation of bacteria and suspension cells.
Product Features
- Closed transfer reduces the risks of contamination during liquid transfer
- The cap is molded and connected in an integrated manner, reducing the risks of leakage and media residues
- A variety of tubing diameters are available and aseptic welding of liquid inlet tubing under normal conditions is supported
- High-quality materials and smooth inner wall of the tubing provide an excellent transfer performance
- Sterility level (SAL) is maintained at 10-6
- Endotoxin-free, and no ingredients of animal origin
