Hermle Z327 Universal Centrifuge
Both the tabletop centrifuge Z 327 and the refrigerated tabletop centrifuge Z 327 K offer a wide assortment of rotor options, making them ideal for a wide variety of research applications. Compact, quiet, and powerful are just a few of the features found on the Z216 series microcentrifuges. Add to this, the versatility of eight available rotor options, and the result is the ideal microcentrifuge for the modern molecular biology laboratory.
All common microtubes (0.2 mL, 0.5 mL, 1.5 mL, 2.0 mL) can be accepted as well as PCR strips, hematocrit tubes, and even 5.0ml centrifuge tubes. Advanced microprocessor controls allow for setting/displaying of the rotational speed in either rpm or rcf. In addition to retrieving saved programs, the easy-to-use front panel can adjust accel/decel rates, and change the end-of-run alarm tone. Despite a remarkably small footprint, the Z216 series offers a uniquely designed 44 x 1.5 mL dual-row rotor, nearly doubling the capacity when compared to traditional microcentrifuges.

The Z36 HK is the result of many years of experience in the design of universal centrifuges, high speed centrifuges and compact microcentrifuges. The result is a "Super-Speed" centrifuge with unmatched performance among benchtop centrifuges. A robust motor drive powers a variety of high-speed angled rotors to speeds that would generally only be achievable in large, floor-standing ultra centrifuges. 2.0 mL microtube samples can reach forces above 65,000 xg, while 50 mL samples, as high as 41,410 xg.
In addition to its high speed capabilities, the Z36 HK doubles as a universal centrifuge with a 4 x 250 mL swing out rotor (offering inserts for all common tube sizes) as well as a 2 x 3 position swing-out microplate rotor. The Z287-A exceeds the limitations set forth by traditional microcentrifuges which are restricted solely to fixed-angle rotors for microtubes. Instead, this compact, next-generation model features an expansive line of swing-out and fixed-angle rotors options that accept microplates and test tubes up to 50 mL. We have designed this centrifuge to be our most compact and economical. A true workhorse for any lab requiring a centrifuge that can accommodate many fields of research.
Along with a broad range of available rotor options, the Z287-A introduces a convenient status indicator. Users can easily view the current state of the centrifuge from across the room. The LED illuminates to signify if the rotor is spinning, the run is completed, or the centrifuge is idle in standby mode.
Advanced microprocessor controls allow for instant rotor identification, which automatically converts the rotational speed to the relevant g-force (rcf), preventing the user from setting a speed above the capabilities of the installed rotor. The Spectrafuge™ 16M is the perfect, high-speed, compact microcentrifuge. A brushless, maintenance-free motor provides extremely fast acceleration and deceleration of the 18-place rotor and makes the Spectrafuge™ 16M the quietest microcentrifuge in its class.
Speed and time are set with the control knobs on the front panel of the unit. A "quick" button allows for momentary runs. A continuous flow of ambient air through the rotor chamber keeps the rotor and samples cool. For applications requiring sub-ambient temperatures, the Spectrafuge™ 16M can be operated in a cold room.
