ZAP^™ Slik Aerosol Filter Pipette Tips

Each style of ZAP™ SLIK Tips is designed from the beginning to fit precisely the range of pipettors listed in the fit charts. We carefully inspect the fitting with the actual pipettors, not just with measuring gauges. This means you won’t have to worry about leaking Tips and you don’t have to use extra force to mount these Tips.
 

ZAP™ SLIK tips feature a pure 10µm pore size patented filter without any dyes or additives. The pores on this filter are 100% smaller than those in other aerosol tip brands. A smaller pore guarantees that your pipettor barrel will be kept clean of DNA, radionucleotides, and other contaminants. And this filter works to block fluids without any contaminants in the filter so you never have to worry that your work will be spoiled if your sample contacts the filter.

Real World Lab Tested

Labcon^® ZAP™ Slik Tips are developed using their own in-house laboratory and tested on real pipettors. they don't use "pin" gauges or other unrealistic testing methods.

APT™ Automation Pipette Tips

Labcon automation pipet tips APT™ for Beckman® FX, NX and other brands are designed and tested to fit your workstation. Made from pure pre-tested medical grade resins to ensure the integrity of your work. Each lot is tested and certified free of ATP, RNase/DNase (Nuclease), and Endotoxins (non-pyrogenic). Resins are pre-tested with a USP test method to ensure they are free of Oleamide and Phalates. Unlike tips sold as “pre-sterile” these tips use a validated medical grade sterilization process. You can use these tips in diagnostics, regulated testing, and medical screening procedures.

Labcon Robotic Pipette Tips are made of virgin polypropylene and furnished pre-racked in extra-heavy automation grade polypropylene racks and are autoclavable.

Labcon Eclipse™ pipette tips include as standard many features available from other suppliers only as special upgrades. All the Eclipse™ tips we make are made of high quality 100% pure virgin medical grade polypropylene, so you won't find recycled plastics in our tips. We pre-test the resin to ensure no extractables are present. Every lot is lab tested and certified free of detectable Nuclease (RNase/DNase), Endotoxin (pyrogen) contamination and certified to U.S.P. results. Resins are pre-tested for metal contamination. All our Eclipse™ tips in racks are packed in our trademark Teal racks. These racks are made of polypropylene and are autoclavable repeatedly. They have sturdy latch hinges that won't come apart like lesser quality tip racks and a special snap lock designed so that it will not catch on your gloves. ZAP™ Aerosol Filter Pipette Tips

ZAP™ Aerosol filter Pipette Tips from Labcon set a higher standard for your lab than ordinary filter pipette tips. These aerosol tips provide you with complete protection from sample carry-over. Incorporating a robotically inserted 10 μm filter with a sponge-like porous pathway. ZAP™ tips have such a small pore they even block fluids in the unlikely event that you should over pipette. ZAP™ Aerosol Filter Pipette Tips have been proven in independent studies to block aerosol contamination but unlike some leading brands of self-sealing aerosol resistant pipette tips they have no cellulose gum , toluene solvent, or colored dyes in the filter to mix with and contaminate your sample. Also, unlike self-sealing aerosol tips ZAP™ tips can be autoclaved in a steam autoclave. And they will not wick fluids like cellulose filled aerosol resistant tips, so you don't have to worry about how you hold your pipettor. Our ZAP™ tips in sterile racks, like all our other products, have received valid sterilization processing compliant with ISO 11137. SuperSlik® Protease Free Pipette Tips

SuperSlik® Low Retention tips have a proprietary modified polypropylene surface that limits the adhesion of cells, rDNA, proteins, and other viscous materials. Their accuracy and precision is up to 10 times better with viscous samples than standard non-wettable polypropylene. SuperSlik® tips are made from our own proprietary resin formulation that uses no additives or coatings that migrate into your samples. Unlike low retention tips from many others, SuperSlik® tips use no restricted chemicals and meet RoHS regulations. The resin helps increase the contact angle of fluids and lets you dispense the maximum amount of sticky DNA molecules. These tips were developed in our own laboratory and have been found to be ideal for viscous samples. Low retention tips are best suited for pipetting thick or sticky fluids and may not be appropriate for all uses.
